Joints are added to concrete finishes to prevent random cracking in the slabs.  The joints or seams do not need to be dirt and grime collectors.  Filling joints with an Epoxy/Polyurea joint filler blocks water and other debris from settling in the grooves while still allowing the concrete to expand and contract. Joint Filling will make your finished floors seamless.
